What moves the number
Six things that set the price
-
01
How much space it takes up
Volume is the biggest part of the number. One recliner and a full trailer are different jobs. That is why we come out and look at it with you before giving a price.
-
02
How heavy it is
Landfills charge by weight. Concrete, tile, roofing, dirt and wet brush weigh far more than furniture for the same space, so they cost more to dump.
-
03
How far it has to be carried
Curbside is the easy version. A second floor, a long backyard, a tight gate or an attic adds time and crew.
-
04
Whether it has to come apart first
A deck, a fence, a shed, a hot tub built into a deck frame or a swing set in concrete has to be torn down before it can be loaded. That is demolition, and it is priced into the same visit.
-
05
How far the truck drives
The base is San Marcos. Kyle and Martindale are short runs. Cedar Park and Round Rock are the long end of the 55 mile radius.
-
06
What is in the load
Some items carry their own disposal fees at the landfill or recycler, mattresses and tires among them, and those pass through to the job. Hazardous products are not hauled at all.

When you should not hire us
If you have a couple of items, they fit your city's bulk pickup rules and you can wait for the pickup day, use the city. It is usually free or close to it. If you have a truck and the load is brush or recyclables, the county drop-off sites are often cheap.
Hiring a crew makes sense when the load is bigger than the city allows, when it has to be carried out of the house, when it has to be torn down first, or when it has to be gone this week. The official city and county pages are below so you can compare for yourself.
