What it covers

Get the yard back

Yard debris piles up faster than the city will haul it. A weekend of trimming, one storm, or a fence and deck project leaves a pile that will not fit in a bin and will not fit in a truck bed either. We load it out of the yard, off the curb or out from behind the gate, and take it with us.

The photos below are a fence job in New Braunfels, where the old pickets and brush were stacked at the curb and hauled once the new cedar fence went up, plus a backyard pile in San Marcos with a dog house, a metal feed trough and lawn chairs in it.

If the fence or the deck itself still has to come out, that is the same crew on the same trip. See fence removal and deck removal.

What we haul out of the yard

  • Brush piles, limbs and cut branches
  • Hedge and shrub trimmings
  • Pulled shrubs, small stumps and root balls
  • Storm debris off the yard and the driveway
  • Old fence pickets, rails and posts
  • Rotten deck boards and landscape timbers
  • Bagged leaves, grass clippings and pine needles
  • Sod, dirt and rock in weight limited loads
  • Broken planters, edging and old landscape fabric
  • Yard junk: dog houses, feed troughs, lawn chairs, kid toys

Where the line is

We do not climb, cut down or top trees. That is arborist work with different insurance behind it. Anything already down is fair game.

Dirt, sod, rock and gravel are heavy. A trailer hits its weight limit long before it looks full, so those loads get planned differently. Mention it when you call.

Pesticides, fertilizer, pool chemicals, gas cans, paint and propane tanks never go on the trailer. Household hazardous waste needs a licensed disposal route.

Pricing

Brush prices by the pile

Brush is a volume job. Limbs do not stack tight, so a pile that looks small in a yard can take half a trailer once it is loaded. Cut lengths help. So does having it in one pile instead of five spots around the property.

Dirt, sod and rock flip that around and price off weight. Either way, call (210) 723-9325 and describe it, or send a photo, and you get a number for the yard you actually have.

Yard waste questions

Do you cut the tree down?
No. We are not a tree service and we do not climb or fell trees. What is already on the ground or already cut gets loaded and hauled. If a tree still has to come down, get an arborist for that part and call us for the pile it leaves behind.
How much does yard waste removal cost?
Brush prices off volume, since limbs take up far more room than they weigh. Dirt, sod and rock price off weight instead. Call (210) 723-9325 and describe the pile, or send a photo of the yard, and you get a number.
The city will not take my pile. Can you?
Usually yes. Municipal brush and bulk pickup runs on a schedule with size and length limits, and it will skip a pile with lumber, fence pickets or old furniture mixed in. A trailer does not care what the pile is made of, as long as it is not hazardous material.
Do you pull the shrubs out or only haul what I cut?
Both. Small shrubs and root balls can come out as part of the job. Say what you want gone when you call so the crew brings the right tools.
Do I need to bag anything first?
No. Loose piles are fine and so are bags. The photos on this page are a curbside pile of pickets and brush from a fence job in New Braunfels, loaded exactly as it sat.
