The work

It is bigger than it looks from the patio

A trampoline is a steel ring, a pile of springs and a net on poles, bolted together in the middle of a fenced yard. Whole, it does not fit through a gate, into a truck bed, or in a trash cart. That is why it has been sitting there since the kids outgrew it.

We take it apart where it stands. Net and poles first, then the pads and the mat, then the springs, then the frame comes down into pieces small enough to carry out through the gate. Anchors come out of the ground. Everything goes on the dump trailer and leaves.

The reasons are always the same. The kids are grown. It rusted through. A storm folded it over the fence. The house is selling and the buyer does not want it.

What leaves with us

  • Safety net and net poles
  • Padding and spring cover
  • Jump mat
  • Springs, sometimes ninety of them
  • Frame ring and legs
  • Ground anchors, augers and straps
  • Ladder, basketball hoop and tie downs

Why not do it yourself

Springs are under tension and they do not let go politely. Rusted bolts round off. The frame is heavy and awkward for two people, worse for one. And when it is finally in pieces you still have a driveway full of steel and a mat nobody will take.

It is a two hour argument with a wrench, or a phone call. Your choice.

Real job

San Antonio, April 2026

Two crew members breaking down a large backyard trampoline and carrying the net and frame out through the side yard.

Pricing

What changes the price

Size

A 10 foot round and a 15 foot with a full enclosure are not the same amount of steel.

Condition

Seized and rusted hardware slows the teardown down. So does a frame that is already bent.

Anchors

Staked into dirt is quick. Set in concrete is digging, and that is a different number.

Carry distance

Back gate to the trailer. Through the house is never the plan, but a long side yard counts.

One photo from your phone and the diameter is usually enough for a number. If there is other junk going with it, mention that too, because it is cheaper on the same trip than on a second one.

Service area

Where we pull trampolines

San Marcos and about 35 miles out. The job on this page was in San Antonio.

Trampoline removal questions

Do I need to take it apart first?
No. Taking it apart in the yard is the job. Net, poles, pads, mat, springs and frame all come off where it stands and go straight on the trailer.
What about the anchor stakes in the ground?
They come out. Auger anchors, U stakes and strap kits all get pulled so nobody catches a foot on them later. If the anchors were set in concrete, say so when you call.
The frame is rusted and the bolts are seized. Still fine?
Yes. Rust is normal on a trampoline that has been out in Texas weather for a few years, and it does not stop the teardown. It is worth mentioning on the phone so the crew brings the right tools.
Can I just put it out for bulk trash pickup?
A trampoline does not fit in a cart, does not come apart easily, and rules for oversized items vary by city and by hauler. Check with your own trash provider before you drag it to the curb. If the answer is no, that is what we are for.
Can you get it out of a fenced back yard?
Usually. The frame gets broken down small enough to carry through a standard gate, which is exactly what the San Antonio photos on this page show. We need a way in, so tell us about locked gates and dogs when you call.
Can you take it and the rest of the yard junk at once?
Yes, and it is worth doing. The trailer is already there. Old patio furniture, a rusted swing set, a play house, brush piles and the hot tub can all go in the same load. See junk removal.
How much does trampoline removal cost?
It depends on the size, whether it is anchored, how rough the shape is and how far it has to be carried to the trailer. Call (210) 723-9325 with the diameter and a photo.
